Ruma Ruru learns all about St John's Ambulance
and how to keep themselves safe.
They know that when they ring 111 for help they
need to know their address and phone number.

          Lucky Ruma Ruru
Our very own resident Highlander.

TK, as we call him, was part of the Ruru team for a week whilst the Highlanders were on 'rest' week.
Rest for some, but not for TK. He spent his week supporting one particular child but also took every child out for games, running, ball skills and kicks. He was a hugh 'hit' with the class.

How lucky were we. We were sad when he had to leave but now we can watch him play for the Highlanders and Otago we hope.   Go TK!!

Exciting times in Ruma Ruru.

A beautiful Monarch Butterfly hatched out of its cocoon.
We had sugar and water for it to eat and we hoped it would stay and lay an
egg on our swan plant but it flew up onto the window ledge and then out the
window and it flew away.
